I presume you are using OME 1.1.0.6063 and 1.1.1 patch is installed as well. Under "Manage -> System Updates -> Issues and Resolutions" tab, do you see the ESXi server listed and does it provide any recommendations ?
Usually discovery and inventory iDRAC6 on M710 blade using WSMAN protocol with "Secure Mode" enabled ("Skip Common Name Check" and "Trusted Site" checked), OME should be able to fetch software inventory. This inventory data will be compared against the catalog and a compliance report (pie chart) will be generated under "Manage -> System Updates" page. Make sure the device is listed in one of sections in the pie-chart.
