Re: System is Inventoried but won't show in compliance - ESXi 5.1

Sorry if I'm not being clear.

I have OME running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box

I tried to have it inventory and update a 2950 running ESXi 5.1 - system shows up in devices but does not appear in the system update tabs

Then I installed OMSA 7.2 on a third machine, an R710 running ESXi 5.0

I configured smtp so it sends traps to the OME machine

I discovered and inventoried it with WS-MAN (smtp is unchecked in discovery setup)

The R710 appears in devices and shows extensive details indicating that discovery and inventory was successful but again, this system does not appear under any of the System Update tabs (compliant systems, non-compliant systems, non-inventoried systems) either.

I'm hoping to be able to use OME to update firmware and bios on the R710 but so far I don't seem to be able to figure out how to do that short of using DVD media and physical access to the machine.  I'd like to make this work so I can manage these things remotely.  Is this possible?
